How Did ScanBooker Begin?
The ScanBooker system was created in a partnership between the Medical Research Council's Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit in Cambridge, UK, and the Appropriate Software Foundation. Contributions were then received from both the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, San Francisco. Subsequently, interest in ScanBooker was received from institutions across the world, and a club was formed to take the project forward.
